PISCATAWAY — New York Jets linebacker and former Scarlet Knights defensive end Jamaal Westerman spoke to the Rutgers football team Wednesday after its practice.

A football team from Florida opened the season last week with a game in Daytona Beach. That same team is scheduled to fly to Pittsburgh for a game Saturday, and fly to Dallas for its third game next week. This sounds like the schedule for a college football team. But this is the early-season schedule for Cocoa High School (Fla.).

These two teams met last year for the first time since the 2000 season in which the Quistors barely squeaked by a victory at 23-14. Friday night was a different story.
